“Client-centered” means that I meet your body where it is the day of your massage and that the session is centered around you and your needs. I don’t follow a fixed massage routine, and I blend many techniques to make sure we figure out what works for you.
Each massage is unique when blending techniques. This ensures that each client gets the type of massage they need the day of their session. Most of my sessions incorporate warm-up circulatory strokes (aka “Swedish”), some passive stretching (inspired by traditional Thai massage), and patient, intuitive deep tissue sculpting (see my post about depth vs. pressure). These three approaches work very well individually, so when used through a single session, you feel relaxed, relieved, and grateful that you took the time to take care of yourself.
